I am very curious about almost everything. A change of scene stimulates a whole new series of questions; living in Korea is a challenge, and a lesson in culture.. both 'theirs' and 'mine'. Insights? Always interested.
I have started a GROUP on this site called "Expats in Korea", it is open to everyone who is interested in discussing daily issues, current affairs, politics, cultural challenges, good day hikes... anything - it is open to those living in Korea, and those living elsewhere - open to Koreans and Non-Koreans as well.
I am not here to meet in person, and prefer to have conversations inside the group instead of by email. If we were to become pals over time, I'm sure I'd enjoy meeting for coffee, or some other casual friendly activity. If you wish to speak with me, please meet me at the group - Expats in Korea or in my blog Curious Encounters
Hope to see you there soon -bb
My Ideal Person:
I most enjoy friends who are thoughtful, broad minded, engaging, direct, honest, creative, dynamic, curious, and energetic. I also appreciate people who are able to have an interesting and involved conversation, where we both express our genuine opinions and learn something about eachother and the cultures which we come from. Sometimes that involves a disagree on certain issues, and I like very much when people can disagree and still remain friends. Our friends are able to teach us things that teachers cannot.
