I got some action last weekend! (from a harbor seal!!!!) Oct 29, 2005 5:43 pm Mood: excited, 3547 Views Okay, so I was scuba diving, not on a date. But I did get some action! This beautiful large harbor seal came up to me and my dive buddy and HUGGED ME! It was amazing! He wanted to play... so we swam around with him for about 10-15 minutes. He kept opening his little flippers and grabbing at us.... hugging us. It was sooooo great!!! A couple of times I had to push him away (or me away from him) because he was so insistant on playing with us. He was right in my face.. honestly we were about 4 inches apart staring at each others' eyes. I reached out with my hand and pushed his face away. He was very nice... I was lucky since he was a wild animal and you never know what they will do. Definitely the best dive experience I've ever had! 5 Comments

Why do I procrastinate? Oct 15, 2005 9:33 pm Mood: annoyed, 1761 Views Okay, it's 11:30pm and I still haven't begun packing for my two-week trip tomorrow! I'm supposed to leave at 7am. Obviously I'm not going to get much sleep! I'm so exhausted right now... I just want to sleep. Why did I wait until the last minute to pack? At least I made a list so I won't forget something.... hopefully. I can't find my camera. I can't find my dive log for scuba diving (in case I have spare time). I can't find games for my Game Boy (for the plane ride). I feel like I can't find my brain, too!!!! I do this every time that I travel. You would think that I would learn a lesson... but I don't. Sigh. Guess tomorrow I'm going to spend my spare time sleeping to recover from the little bit of sleep I'm going to get tonight. Grrrrr 1 comment

I wish we were... Oct 9, 2005 6:21 am Mood: frustrated, 2164 Views I remember the "old days" here on KFF not that long ago. When people would write comments on each other's blogs and they stimulated "conversations". Of course, they weren't "real-time conversations" because they were postings on a blog. BUT! People responded to the blogs and too each other's comments. Postings would have over 10 comments! I'm just not seeing too much of that anymore. Most people have 1 or 2 responses to their postings and no one is geting involved. I wish we were still actively engaged in each other's blogs... what's wrong? 11 Comments

Delivery Oct 7, 2005 1:28 pm Mood: frustrated, 1914 Views The delivery guys brought the rest of my "things" from Korea. OH MY! I didn't realize I had so much CRAP!!! They brought 25 HUGE moving boxes of things.. mostly clothes and crap and piled them in my apartment. Now I can't get from the living room to the kitchen. I don't know what's in most of the boxes. Guess it will be like opening presents... don't know what you have until you open the box!!! Could take me months to get unpacked. 3 Comments

It's a terrible nightmare. Oct 5, 2005 3:23 pm Mood: sad, 1876 Views I feel like I'm in some terrible nightmare: I'm in a room on the top of a mountain with transparent walls... I can see everything that is going on around me. However, no one can see me and no one can hear me. Some of the people that I care about are falling down the mountain. Screaming and yelling. I want to help them.. but I can't get out. Some people are still standing near my room... and thinking of going down the mountain. I want to tell them to stay... but I can't make them see me. No matter how I pound on the walls, no one sees nor hears me. Everyone is leaving and I am helpless. 3 Comments

They catch you off guard and you don't know what to say. You end up saying something, but later you wish you had said more. How do you put into a few brief sentences the effect that one person had on your life? How do you sum up the happiness that they brought to you? How do you convey your hopes of prosperity, good health and best wishes to someone you truly care about? As you all know... Tazzy recently said Goodbye to all of us at KFF. With her gone, I feel lonely. She was such a bright spot on this site. If someone has her contact information... can you please contact her and tell her to send me an email or address? I hope no one else that is close to my heart decides to leave. Even though our friendship is "through the Internet", you are all important. I think of you all as friends, not as KFF IDs. I was stood up! Sep 5, 2005 8:18 am Mood: angry, 2624 Views The movers were supposed to come on Saturday at noon... they called to say they'd be late. Show up between 2pm and 2:30pm. 2:40 rolled around and I called them. They said they were on their way. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. Then they stopped answering the phone and let the answering machine pick up. I left three messages, no call back. The fourth time that I called, they turned the answering machine off! Can you believe this? So there I was stuck with all my furniture needing to be moved. Sigh. Thank goodness the guy that I play pool with brought a friend over yesterday and another motocycle guy came and we were able to get the big stuff moved. But can you believe that a company runs their business that way? THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE DECENCY TO CALL ME!!! I'm calling the Better Business Bureau. 7 Comments
