discussion of who should pick up the tab when ur on a date came up while few of kffers were having dinner last sunday... everyone had different opinions on this very subject, but everyone made points to their opinions with clear senses ... altho... i felt there's just too much calculations of who should pay & how often either party should pay~ sounds just tooooo cold... takes romance outa dating...
i know many modern women r independent & don't like men picking up tabs for us all times... so some of us either go dutch or take turns paying for dating expenses... i suppose dat's acceptable as far as no one was pressured & was outa her own will... but i've seen or actually heard young guys actually talking & assuming dat if woman whom they r dating doesn't ever offer to pick up da tab every other time.. that she mite b there just to use them... rite there such a thought to me is such a stress..... i don't feel those guys who always stress & expect their date to help pay will lead successful long term relationships.....
i feel dat healthy romantic relationship starts where the couple picks dating venues or events where a man can comfortably afford to pay without breaking his bank account... i also feel dat men should b happy to b able to provide such things for a woman whom they care for... instead of calculating how much they r spending & is she worth all dat much... which already shows that they r headed toward wrong directions... more like looking for benefits rather than relationships~
& women in other hand... if she truly cares for da man she is dating shouldn't pressure him to pay for venues or events he really can't afford either...
it really shouldn't matter whether ur having in& out burger watching best seller from blockbuster on ur couch or having steak & lobster dinner @ ur local 5 star restaurant as long as neither one r pressured & calculating whether its ur turn or her turn to pay & is there a reward afterwards...
