Have a beautiful day...
For just a short time after she has left, the scent of a woman stays with you.
It's on your clothes, your hands even your hair.
If her scent is still with you after years of her presence, surely you have loved.

A new companion? Jul 20, 2008 3:32 pm
Mood: Split, 115 Views
A red fish (now dead) LOL and some green plants aren't the best companions for a single guy...
As i wrote previously i was looking to adopt a dog and... just got a call from friends who have a young Beagle in need of a new home.
Look at the pic, this dog look so nice... but i have second thoughts. Would i have enough time for a young dog, what would happen if i'm gone for a full day... aish.
I had already a name for him. Elmo.
Anyway, tomorrow is the final day to take a decision.

Beautiful day to all,
Frenchguy.

When you have some people with a natural incline to spread negativity and 'bitching' constantly about people, don't be surprise to see all the smart and nice people leaving a place once very pleasant.
I suppose thats all i have to say about that. Draw your own conclusions...

Have a beautiful day.
For the few that i respect...

Today is the 14 of july, the French National Holiday (or Bastille Day).
I like this commemoration even if the 'take' of the Bastille was more symbolic than anything else.
French people were tired of lies, back-stabbing and '2 faces' people... and those were quickly beheaded.
Thanks Mister Guillotin !!
Of course, we have the fireworks, food and drinks to celebrate this holiday.
NY City has a large Bastille day celebration each year on 60th street on the Upper East side of Manhattan. Sadly, i leave on the West Coast.

French women are pretty and 'audacieuses' (bold).
Some good songs here:

EMILIE SIMON "Fleur de saison"
OLIVIA RUIZ "La femme chocolat"
BRIGITTE BARDOT "Harley-Davidson"
ZAZIE "Je suis un homme"
LARA FABIAN "Je t'aime"
NICOLLE CROISILLE "Une femme avec toi"
AXEL RED "Rester femme"
CHARLOTTE GAINSBOURG "L'un part L'autre reste"
CARLA BRUNI "Quelqu'un m'a dit"

Do you ever find yourself in complaint mode? Do you ever bemoan your luck, whinge at the people character or whine about people actions?
It's not hard to find good reasons to complain about most things/people, if we look hard enough! For those who find themselves complaining a lot it does tend to be learned, developed and practised habit over a long period of time, probably since childhood. For them, it will always feel OK and natural to seek out the things that could be, should be, ought to be better! After all nothing is perfect in an imperfect world! (especially virtual)
The Complainer expects others and the World to make them happy, thought happiness is a self-created state of mind. The Complainer tends to feel powerless and often hopeless, lost in thoughts of his own.
The Complainer is essentially angry. They believe they can effect change and get what they want just by displaying their anger at what has just happened, or not happened. They would probably even start complaining if someone suggested that complaining is not such a bright idea!

Then, you have at the other end those for whom the world is a wonderful place, constantly full of surprises and discoveries, despite what others may see as not wonderful. When things go wrong, or turn less than expected, they accept it, take in the way it is and just keep moving...
Occasionally they are tempted to stop and jump in the light of a negative reflection, but it doesn't last long as they realise that life, in the meantime, is moving on.

Have a beautiful day.

* A small 4 year-old kid whom i pass by during my most needed grocery shopping threw a 'bogey' at me today!! The worst is this thing was sticky... i had to use a piece of paper to clean my shirt.

* I consider adopting a dog, i need desesperatly a living 'person' around me. So i would appreciate suggestions for a name. If i choose your name you'll win a cookie.

* Over the years, I think i've adopted a buddhist philosophy without ever really knowing what buddhism entailed for. I was reading about it latelly and it show how much of it ideals i already subscribe to... which isn't the reason to label me as full devotee. But still, maybe it's good to have any sort of beliefs in my life at this time.
-i'm like the 'new' Richard Gere. hehe.

* I've already sat for a six-hour "Rome" marathon today (DvD boxset) If you don't know this serie from HBO... you're missing something really good.

Have a beautiful day,

Her glance was caring & my hopes were bright
Her speech was short with words that delight
Her smile was radiant, like the moon at night
Her steps were slow yet attractive and polite

Her looks were noble, fires of passion ignite
Her features were slender yet majestic than Knights
Her eyes so proud yet her heart polite
Her manners so gentle, provoked poets to write

Her laughter so irresistible, a thunderous light
Her character so simple yet profound to excite
Her love so pure in line of my sight
Her being so divine, didnt Need me quite

Have a beautiful day,
Frenchguy
