Here is an updated pic of us from my trip from the East Coast. I'm all greasy though because it was soooo hot. It is from one of his closest guy friend's son's birthday.
But I think we look cute regardless of my greasiness. His parents were wondering when I would be back. I wanted to go back over July 4th weekend but we didn't book it in time, it'll cost us a G for me to go for the weekend.
His eldest sis even said she would miss me.
So I will be going in September instead. He wants me to wait for 2 1/2 weeks but I think it would be too much.

before my trip...

i had my doubts. i had my fears. i had my frustrations. this long distance relationship was hard.
we got to talk alot during my trip here. he took some time off for us to spend some quality time, altho he had to return to work today, i am grateful for the time he gave me this week.
now...i know every couple had to work at communicating and trusting each other...but with this trip, i have no doubts that we will have a happy life together. in the beginning we will struggle but i know that we will work through it.
my doubts, my fears, my frustrations...all gone. he is my future and i am his. with each other we will make it through anything. his oldest sister gave me great advice and both of us will not be making the big money in the upcoming months but we will stick by and love each other through anything.
the way he looks at me...it makes me melt. i truly love him. i am glad that i was able to come here this week to spend it with him and his family.
all families struggle, we will not be any different but we will work through it...there will be time where we will fail and we will succeed. but we will have each other.

Although I am having a great time with BF and his family, I miss my baby eepoonee.
I can't wait to see her. And I haven't seen my parents in over 3 weeks. I miss them too BUT I miss my baby more.
BF always say that he is my baby first but...
My baby is my baby. Going through withdrawals about not seeing her. Next time I think I may have to bring her here...maybe. With his mom and dad's permission of course. But then again, I will be coming here to the east coast for interview for potential accounting firms.
We will see...but I do miss her...my eepoonee...

in case everyone was wondering...
it was a rough start at first but his parents are warming up to me. bought his father a great bottle of chianti (actually three in total since BF's brother in law drank two of them the other night...  and i didn't know if i was supposed to say anything about NOT drinking BF father's wine because i bought it for BF's father not for the entire family)
bought his mother a birthday gift i hope she actually liked...a coach over the shoulder purse...she said i spent too much money but its the least i can do. i hope she actually liked it.
and if you can believe it...you know that there are some things i pull the "princess card" out...i was gardening with his grandmother...YES I PUT MY FINGER AND HANDS IN DIRT!!!
helped do the laundry and folded them too.
i hope everything is okay with everyone...i hope to see all the NJ and NY peeps for the NY gtg that absoluteqtangel and sukebejiji are hosting.
don't worry BF is treating me like a queen. his family is very kind to me.

i was talking to my honey...
he's catholic and i'm presbyterian (i had to put the denomination down bc even those polygamists claim to be christian and i would not want to be associated as the same "christian" as them) so we have a conversion once the engagement happens. yes...i will be converting to catholicism.
then i asked if we really need a church wedding. he said yes...bc...
he said he's blessed.
he wants to show how blessed he is by having a formal ceremony. he wants to dedicate our lives before loved ones and before GOD how blessed we are in meeting the way we did.
i'm sorry. i know this is all of a sudden. but i am blessed to have him in my life...
and he made me cry when he said that he was blessed to have met me and that he wants to spend the rest of his life with me.
so i was talking to my sister and she said i should marry in the east coast instead of cali. so...my dear friends...prepare to travel to the east coast. i am just going to have to make sure that my grandma is healthy enough to survive through a long airplane ride first class.
