Falling Into Place... Jun 28, 2008 1:38 am 1132 Views I had a great time tonight with XQ and UNHOAN. I think they are going to be my good friends for life. Along with CHRISTINE2007, HOTASIANDUDE77, BROWNEYES72, and SEANMKIM I believe XQ and UNHOAN will be my close friends too. Things are slowly falling into place. I know that BF and I are far from a wedding date but things are falling into place. These are the items I already have in place thus far, I practically have everything set before I even have the engagement ring. But gees, I've been a wedding planner/coordinator for six of my closest friends in the last five years. I'm sure I will be for my other friends in the future. But needing people in the East Coast is going to be hard due to the fact all my contacts from previous wedding planning/coordinating have all been Los Angeles contacts. But I have these things in place. Wedding Dress: XQ and QT are designing it and maybe making it? I think QT said she had a seamstress. Photographer: My new friend UNHOAN is a professional photogragher. Wedding Song: XQ Dining: BF's friend's family owns a restaurant and the food is pretty good. Bridesmaids: My sister and my junior high best friend. Wedding Coordinator: CHRISTINE unni. Wedding Cake: Cake Diva (they fly to whereever you will have your wedding) Flowers: I had someone that sets up flowers for weddings as an independent contractor. But I dont' know if he will fly out to the east and he actually works for a grand flower company. So I don't have anyone. Makeup: I could ask my friend Annie. But I would like her to enjoy and attend the wedding. But I will keep her as my backup. Wedding Cathedral: Lots of beautiful cathedrals...how can you just pick one?? Planning My Future... Jun 27, 2008 12:29 pm 973 Views I went to an ASCEND Social Event last night at Tranquility in Downtown LA. It was great to meet one of the tax managers at D&T who was a personal friend of one of my friends/classmate. The tax manager was smart, eloquent, down-to-earth, lover of travel, and very ambitious. It will be harder to "get the ball rolling" on my networking connections in the East Coast. All the social events are here in Southern California. I have to start anew and be more aggressive in these ASCEND meetings and firm tours. But most importantly, be myself. They look for that candidate that stands out from the crowd and frankly, I don't want to be remembered just as the girl that blushes and beads sweat on her nose. I want to be remembered in these events and meetings as someone "all put together." It would be great to start with one of the Big Fours or even the mid-size Accounting Firms. I just need to practice my interviewing skills. But...I get a little nervous because these people are working professionals in my field. My friends have to help me refine these skills. Need to get straight A's this quarter and the next two quarters. 1 comment

Even more special is to spend almost two weeks with my Honey. I can't wait to experience my first Winter Wonderland too!!! I believe he is coming to formally meet my parents during Thanksgiving/Birthday weekend. He will tell them of our future plans and ask for my hand in marriage (I think!?). Maybe during Christmas he's going to ask them for my hand? But I can't wait to see him again...10 more weeks until I see him. I have to set up some interviews for jobs in the East Coast. In Anticipation... Jun 19, 2008 7:42 pm 1172 Views i want so much to start my life with my new career and my BF. i've been in school for almost 2 years now and i am ready to finish... i do wish that i had my head on straight so that i would have graduated this december but there is always a reason why it happened the way that it did. but i have 2 more quarters in school after this summer session with only 5 more classes to take. but i am going to take 6 and press on. i miss my BF and we talk everyday and many times a day but it isn't the same. he goes and hangs out with his friends and i hang out with my friends but i wish we hung out with our friends together. even if we are in the same room and i am studying, that would be so much better. i miss him alot. it was great to spend time with him all week when i was in the east coast but...i am going through withdrawals. it isn't the same, just talking on the phone and hearing his voice. i miss him alot. we cried again when we parted our ways at the airport. i tried not to cry in front of him when we were saying our goodbyes but i saw the tears coming in his eyes too. i hate saying bye to him. i know it's not goodbye but a "see you later" but it's still so hard. since i have saturday classes i can't go see him unless the professor states there will be no class on one of the saturdays. i know that fourth of july weekend we don't have school but it is too expensive to go there. does anyone have a free ticket? hahahahah. i miss him. ALOT!!!! he is so good to me. i just want to be a great supporter to him too. i can't wait to start my life with him at my side. 3 Comments
