Well, that's me got through the first week of my new job and I have to say I'm buzzing 
In spite of being a bit rundown this last week, I excelled and had a great time 
Aside from learning the principals of the job and understanding the concepts of the industry, the most important element for me is getting on with my fellow new-starts and having FUN 
In the past (my teens and early/mid-twenties) I'd been guilty of being distant and introverted, and really not entering into the spirit of things, but now more than ever I make the effort to really get on with people and open myself up to them.
It's better in the long run to be yourself and not get lost in the crowd out of fear of rejection or indifference towards others. After all, the chances are you will be spending more time with these people than you will with friends, family and loved ones /:>
