2003 Sarget de Gruaud-Larose (Saint-Julien) -Note:you can't go wrong with any Sarget- 2005 Barons de Rothschild -reserve speciale- (Lafite) 2001 Chateau Haut-Beausejour (Saint-Estephe) 2001 Chateau Bel-Air -cru bourgeois- (Haut-medoc) 2004 Chateau Dassault (Saint-Emilion) 2002 Chateau Puy-Blanquet (Saint-Emilion) 2004 Chateau Paradis-Casseuil -Domaine Rothschild- (Lafite) All those wines are, oh surprise !, french If you enjoy, as like me, wine who are delicat and not heavy or so "fruity" to the palate, you will be happy. And don't forget the 2 rules who, generally, imply a good quality wine : You have to read on the label > APPELATION Bordeaux CONTROLEE .......... Saint-Emilion ......... .......... Haut-Medoc......... > MIS EN BOUTEILLE AU CHATEAU ................ A LA PROPRIETE if you read "Mise en bouteille a F-33000 (5 chiffres) or "Negociants a F-33000", the wine is bought by a warehouse. So the wine will be bottled in a different location and usually mixed with other wines...none that the wine will be bad but it's not an "original" wine. Have a beautiful day, french(hips)guy, Song of the day : COLD WAR KIDS "Red wine, Success!" |
