I am planning to buy an apartment in Mumbai shortly. For normal people a house is a place wherein they can live with their family etc etc but my intention is just to invest my savings and to have a place of my own wherein i can die when old/sick.Not a very handsome investment but a lowly one but it does suffice my purpose. Thanks to god for giving me the strength to achieve this level of independence.
I am not taking any loans , just an outright purchase as i can't afford loans due the uncertainty in my life on account of my uncertain health.

I am so sorry to hear that you have a nervous system disease. I don't know what exactly it is but I hope you are in a quite good control of that. If I offended or made you feel uncomfortable with my silly jokes, I am so sorry. I didn't know that you were in that situation. Yes, having a hard to treat disease is definitely something that requires the preparation for our death. I won't darely say that I can understand you 100% but I can totally understand that we need to prepare for our death especially when we have relatively short time before our death. I hope your condition is getting better. Will be contacting you again.

Quoting Norah7: Yes, this seems to be a depressing blog but meaningful in that life is inevitable thing we will have in our lives. I don't know what and how you think as I have not been exchange ideas with you, but if you think of "to die" to be a process which requires a certain period of time, I think you did a right thing cause we need to prepare the process of dying in a comfortable place. However, you seem to be too young to think about your death so seriously. Though our death is something nobody can avoid but it wouldn't be too late if you do this after a long period of time if you are very healthy. I kind of worried about your health as I can see you holding a pipe. Ha ha.
You seem to be kind of phylosophical, which is good but a bit of humor and fun as well are something that can lead you to a happy life. Am I too serious? Then, I would blame the rain we are having now for my unnecessary seriousness for your blog. Moreover, this could be something I have to hear from people. I need to be not too serious.
Anyway, thanks to your blog, I was able to think about my life and death one more time. If you ask me if I also am going to buy a place to die soon, I would say, I will just save some money to buy the place cause I can see myself changing. So, I am going to buy the place when my death is imminent. Take care, phylosopher. Norah.
Norah ! Thanks for understanding me soo closely. My life is full of instability and uncertanity as i am suffering from a nervous disorder. So i need to prepare for my death well in advance.I may not ever live in this place but yes i must have a place of my own to die in. Regards bt

Quoting Number5Lock: BT69, I am sorry that whatever is happening to you happened. Being military, a skydiver and a motorcycle racer, I have had close friends and acquaintances die quite literally every other month since 9/11 and at least yearly before that. Dealing with death is not new to me, however, as you wrote it's quite different when it happens to you. Most of my friends didn't see their death coming as you do, however, all of us (in my circle of friends) have been more intimately aware of our mortality than most. Obviously I don't envy your position (I'm sorry if that sounds too callous), however, death is a part of the whole circle of life. I do not believe our existence ends, it just changes. I hope you truly believe something similar. It has made me ready for death since I was 14 years old.
Number 5 ; Dear friend! Thanks for sharing your valuable views about death.I share similar views about death.I am rather afraid of the whole hell of a life that lies between today and that time of death. Regards Bt
