Well, the worst cause would be that you feel a sense of betrayal when your trustworthy friend did something bad behind your back and broke the trust in the relationship. Without trust, nobody can keep any form of relationship including friendships.

If the people involved have changed... If the reason for the friendship has ended... There are many reasons the friendships end. We need to remember that almost all of the friendships in our lives will not last until we die and that there is a finite end to most friendships. This is the natural cycle of our lives.
