Because we all try too hard to find one...you know what happens when you play try hard to get games...that's why...just enjoy your life while waiting for serendipity...hmm...actually that may be a recipe for staying single until you are 60...

Jules ! Maybe coz we expect too much from our spouses when we may be ready to give in too little.Maybe coz we wanna love only that person who is ' someone special' and maybe coz we just dont wanna be happy and contented with an ordinary person who just isnt that special. It could also be that everything has its own time place and person and when that time will come u will not even know how u met and fell in love. regards Bt

because we learned that we can fullfile ourselfs only in relation with another person.."our love" .."our husbands or wifes". But it is not truth. For a happy life, first we have to feel complete with our own companion and then to search for other persons.

I treat finding someone as a "wait and see" situation. From what I have noticed, if you are constantly looking for someone and on an aggressive search, people seem to sense the desperate feeling and are turned off. If you meet someone, they need to accept that you will be busy sometimes. If you let the things in your life distract from a person once you meet them, then you need to change that and make that person a priority, or at least include them in your activities so that you can spend time together while still getting things done. When I was with someone, I seemed to attract women, even though I was taken and not even trying to find anyone. Now that I am single, it seems that women notice this and I have had no interest lately, compared to before. I met those two women that I spoke about in my blog as I was going through a period where I gave up being frustrated and accepted being single. I was also busy worrying about the logistics about starting the business so that might have helped.

I guess the extent to which things get in the way is dependent on how much your love the person and they you. The stronger the feeling the less things get in the way, generally. From the family side however, there can often be obstacles and these are not as easily overcome, especially in Korean culture. That is why i put a poll on my blog asking whetehr you would still get married with someone if your family disapproved. Most people have vosted that they would but I wonder if they have ever been in the situation to really have such a huge obstacle between you and your love. You only have one family. I have been on the wrong end once but the relationship was not strong enough anyway. Shyoo, Ozee
