shopping is something gals were born with... special gene dat guys don't have. it was probably invented by a gal. hahaha... however, if my assumption is correct(btw, my mother told me to never assume cuz wen u assume, u make 'ass' out of 'u' and 'me' but i'll take my chances here), u like standing in front of those stores to watch people... i'll admit its fun to watch people sometimes... as for my favorite shop... i would have to say dat its internet. now days, i buy most of my stuff online. cuz... its much cheaper and convenient as it save me so much time...

Personally, I like looking at fine swiss made watches, cuz some cost more then a car. I wouldn't pay that much for a watch, but I like to see what crazy rich people would buy, if money was no object. I went to a pawn shop in Atlantic City that my friend owns and bought a Cartier Roadster watch that cost 10,000 dallors new for 2,000, cuz I really wanted it, and didn't want to pay retail for it. I only got it, cuz it was the lastest model that came out last year. My friends think I'm crazy, for buying a 10 grand watch, but I only paid 2, so I'm ok with it even if its not new.

Hmmm... This is a very different blog... If I were to guess why you would stand in front of the store entrance, I would have to guess that part of you is studying the merchandise, the trends, the colors, patterns, styles, of what they are selling and how they appeal to the consumers in the stores. OR... is it because you love the style itself, a kind of cleaner version of the grunge/vintage look... But that is just a guess... HEHEHE!!! As far as my favorite shops, I would have to say, since I am fortunate that I am a male, fashion trends do not apply to me so strictly. I tend to go outlets to do my once a year shopping as a whole. I mean, as a guy, our shirts, jeans, don't really go out of style because as men, let's face it, we truly aren't judged by our style. Sure, name brands are great if they are affordable to your budget, but not needed. Why should I spend a lot of money on shirts and pants that will go on sale or be shipped to an outlet within a reasonable amount of time and the style not go out??? And for those of you that buy Armani or Hugo Boss t-shirts of $40, how about just donating that money to the Jamie Blog fund. It will go to better use than wasting it on a t-shirt with a name on it... As long as we look clean, fit, and can color coordinate our clothes, our style is our style. I mean, I will be honest and say that my suits do come from a high label, not because I am pretentious, but because a good suit can go a long way so I am willing to spend the extra $$$ for the longevity of it. My jeans are jeans. Nothing special, although I have to admit that when I see guys spend $185 on a pair of True Religion jeans, I have to wonder what he is thinking. I don't know if I answered your question, but I just thought I would lay out a piece of my mind... But then again girl, you already know what I am thinking when it comes to fashion... Hot pink toenails and french manicure nails on the hand... Something is off on that one (By the way, if you guys do not get it, it is an inside joke between Jamie and me, and no she does not do that...) Signed... Uncle Marcus
