Hello Miss sabine, Well, at least we know the reason of your "insomnia"... ahh, the mind is so complex. For my own experience, i have date for a very, very short time a women who was (she never told me how old she was) at least 15 years older than me but, it was just sex. Anyway, for a long relationship, i have never date a older woman than me (or even far more younger than me). I don't see myself with a girl who's, by example 28 years old, who feels and act so much different than me. I don't go anymore in a night club and prefer so far a quiet bar to enjoy a drink with friends... I don't see myself (and enjoy) going in a nightclub dancing with a 28 years old with freaking rap and R&b music to listen. Regarding an older woman... well, it's quite the same. I'm still young and still want having an active life... i'm not yet ready for the next Disney Boat trip organise from AARP. Just my thoughts. But hey, you know me, i'm not gonna lie about it. Maybe this guy is right for you after all, dont you admit that this "absurd" idea is on your mind ?? It just show that you have quite an interest about it... sabee! To be honest i would always prefer dating a woman of matching age.I would prefer not to date a woman < 22 years age.The reason is that i wanna date women with matching mental maturity and tastes only.On the higher side my limit would be 45 yrs. However if the woman is as pretty and cute as u r then there are no age limita at all.So what do u say now Sabee?? impatiently urs take care sheen/bt

Yup, nothing like making a pop culture or historical reference from your high school days that they don't recognize or know because they were in the first grade. i had a gf 11 years older than me. I dated a woman 20 years older than me I had a great love story with a 6 years older woman. I am not the rule. ut it depends from the own age..As i was 20-28 was there no age-limit Later i didnt put an age-limit. But as fact i dated women just some older than me. I think when i will be 45 years old, i couldnt date a woman over 55. But future will show. (am i a gerontophil? NO i date also women under my age...20-28 years old. But it is some boaring with the very young)

Hey Sabineh, Long time! For some strange reason, I seem to attract younger guys more but previously refused to accept the idea. I just didn't like it because it is a known fact that males are more immature than females. If they are younger it's worse. I get annoyed if I talk to someone and they just don't understand what i'm saying.(not to say they have to be smarter than me but at least understand what i'm saying) I like to have deep and intellectually stimulating talks for example what is life etc... and if they can't understand what I'm saying then I do get annoyed more like dab-dab-hae. My tolerance level is quite low these days. But I mean if the guy's ridiculously good looking lol j/k Well they must have ++ characteristics to make up for the lack of maturity. I have now accepted the idea but still prefer older guys. I like guys who are at least 5 yrs older so it makes it harder to accept younger guys. But why not give it a try?? you never know?

Sabineh, As women get older age difference becomes less and less significant. As loveholic said, men do mature more slowly than women early on (in their teens and 20's) but we men do catch up eventually. And of course there are exceptionally mature men at any age. But one thing you have to realize is that most men if given the chance will go for someone younger. When men are in late 20's it maybe a cool thing to date a mature women in their 30's but once they had their desire fulfilled then well.... But, I am not saying all men are this way...just beware. As for a short term thing...why not...go for it. It may cure your insomnia  Axial

axial, yes, as i get older, age difference seems less important than some other factors, like looks (j/k!)... there were times when i thought even two years younger is impossible the fact that i'd always think about my younger brother... i never thought that my younger guy friend is into the "cool thing" but i will try to find out what his intentions are... sabine

HI Sabineh yeah I mean just be prepared tho... He's still young and naive... hahah sounds funny from me who would be a lot younger than him. A lot of guys in the 20s tend to act before they think and in a way it's good because they act on their emotions and what their 'heart' is telling them... but at the same time they don't see beyond that point. To Axial's comment. Yes and no. Yes guys do catch up but I think they still are kids even though they grow old. (Generally speaking) But during their teens and 20s, the gap is rather visible. But it seems to be a trend these days. In my previous job, my manager was going out with a guy who was 7 years younger than her. Tho I think she was kind of having the same concerns as you. He was very sweet to her, much better than the guy she went out with before. hahha i'm a ae-nelginee (child-oldie)
