The other day I received a wink by a woman who is a bi-sexual and bi-curious...I think it was a second time that she has winked at me actually...married on top of it... Was I suppose to feel “lucky” for the wink, whatever the wink represents...actually I was amused more than anything else... I don't even get winks from guys, with exceptions of guys over 50+(no offense please) Well something to share… What does wink really mean I wonder??? ![]() I think I was "hotlisted" by her too...ahahahhahahahah Have you ever been winked/hotlisted by a same gender??? have a good weekend!!! sabine |

...there, you have it. Yes, isn't it frustrating? I view it as a "nothing-to-lose" gesture and usually ignore it altogether. I mean, it comes from someone who knows there really isn't any chance for them so they think to themselves, "Why not?"

Never received winks from a man. but when i used to work at a drug store, gay men would always flirt with me. Maybe it was the pink ties that i used to wear. They said i should wear blue ties instead. Nice weekend 2U also.

Yes. I have received winks from men, and hotlisted by men. I presume that they are gay. Of course I never reply to them. However, I have never been winked at by a woman. I was hotlisted by a woman once about a year ago, and I e-mailed her why she hotlisted me. At that time, I was not writing in the blogs, I was contributing in the Group discussions. She replied that my writing reminded her of her brother who has since passed away. She had a lot of good things to say about her brother. I thanked her and told her I was honored.

I have never experienced same-sex hot listing although I doubt I would take offense at such an overture. In fact, could we not regard such hot listing as an affirmation of our own hotness? Although a same sex union will never be possible for some of us, where is the harm in functioning as an object of homosexual covetousness? It is not as if they will hypnotize you into becoming gay. I would urge those who have found themselves in such a position to be secure in the knowledge that you are regarded as hot by both genders. Whaddya lookin at hah?

Genuine, literate people write. You got a wink from me Sabby, and that's all you need. So good, you can take it to the bank. Take it there, but don't expect any cash. Madman, you scare me in a funny kind of way. Imagine a chihuahua using a megaphone. The sound is a bit frightening. Then, when you actually see it, it becomes surreal and funny at the same time. f/f

I didn't think people care for those winks and hotlists at all However, after reading your blog, I checked to see who winked & hot-listed me. I have over 100 people who winked me in last 30 days, 60 some people who put me in their hotlists, and some put me in both. Among which, I do have a few winks by women. As I joined here to make friends, I am very honored to receive the winks by women because I would think the ladies who wink me either liked what I said in my profile or blogs. I am gonna return all the winks back tonite

I am gonna return all the winks back tonite unlike some of us, i think it's a means to let someone know that they are interested, especially for the standard members who are not able to write e-mails... while you get over 100 winks per month, i usually get 3 or so; therefore, i'd like to get it from a heterosexual man than BI-sexual woman... sabine

I had a gay guy randomly walk up to me at a bar and sit on my lap. I was pretty drunk so I assumed it was one of my other guy friends. I'm secure in my sexuality and so are my friends, so I put my arm around his waist and said "have you lost weight, I don't remember you feeling this light when you are on top." When the guy turned around I jumped, as in I stood to my feet-not the type of jump where a certain part of me stands up, but that jump where the chair flies out from under you. That's the same as a same-sex wink right? I didn't freak out at the stranger since I'm not homophobic, but it did startle me as I was expecting a familiar face. A friend of mine recently "came out". It does feel strange though and just reinforces the fact that people don't choose their sexuality. I usually take it in stride and assume it is a compliment.
