last week, i found out that anna nicole smith died... on tv, along with her name was the years, 1967-2007, which makes her 40 years old...first thing that came to my mind was that "wow she’s ALREADY 40 years old" and then think to myself, “wow” and then, it hits me...i too will be 40 years old soon... even when i turned 37 in october, it didn’t seem like a big deal…just another year, another birthday...yet, when i realized that i would be turning 40 years soon, i’m just flabbergasted... when my mom was 40 years old, i was already 20 years old...*sigh* |

Time does fly fast......seems like it was yesterday and I was 20, and now I'm 31 almost 32....I know by now I thought I would have a family and children.....its amazing how life takes it twists and turns isn't it  I think the key is to stay positive, and positive things will happen  -Clarry

40 can be a freightening milemarker. everyone likes to believe that by 40, life is what it will be. it's just a reminder to live with no regrets, since it could be all over soon. Chris Farley was like 35 when he died, I've already outlived Hendrix and James Dean. How old was Kerouac when he died? I'm not positive, but I heard Wes Montgomery started playing guitar when he was 35. I heard Francis Bacon (the painter) didn't get fame and his style until he was 35 too. But how old was Picasso when he died? Rat bastard lived too full a life. George Burns was old and still snappy. Chuck Heston...just as much a right winger now in old age as he was when he was Moses. I just hope I never need depends nor a walker nor hearing aid. I have one last 30 something birthday. I'll be a 40 yr old grad student...hopefully. Life begins at 40. And if it's a biological clock...why do people always feel a need to raise their own genetic material, yet adopt dogs and cats? If I ever want kids badly enough, there's always adoption or the orwellian freezing and unfreezing of chromosomes and a test tube. 40's not so bad...now 50...that's old.

well try this for a chance, this lady is a hongkong singer her name is sally yeh chech her concert on 2003, she was 40 on 2003 and when she preform she has body. Well if you train u can be like her. At least you look abit like her. So if you start training its never too late, if you do look like her you will has many many choices to choose....

For some 40 is old,but when you are 50 then 40 is distant memory. There was a time when people didnt live very long and 40 was old. Now people are living well past their 80's and into 100's. Asian women age slower than some of the other races. You will not look your age unless you do not take care of yourself. Women are having babies at 40+ after they have spent time working on their careers. 40 can be just a number or a giant burden. It all depends on how you take it and turn it in your mind. Workout,eat healthy and take care of yourself, and keep positive. Then 40 could be a halfway point in your life.
