finally, i've "reunited" with my friend whom i haven't had contact for two years or so... i thought we lost contact because he was mad at me for some reason whereas he thought i was mad at him...funny how DIFFERENT our memories are... we tried catching up with our lives at a near by pho restaurant... unfortunately even though they were kind to let us in to eat at the same time, they pretty much kicked us out since they close at 9pm...wow, so early!!! we came back to my place and did more catching up... we talked about all the things we used to do together, i.e. going to library in little tokyo, cooking, doing sudo-ku, knitting (he even knits!), driving around, more importantly just hanging out...weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee i'm a happy camper!!! he's already taught me the correct way to grow basil and we stole some sweet basil leaves (from the pho rest) to plant too...

Good to hear you reconnect, Sabine. Sudoku? As in the 9 3X3 squares where you have to fit numbers 1-9 in each square without repeating? I love that thing.

cool....can you mail me some basil when its ready ? I will send you some Vadalia Onions from Ga...DEAL ? i'd be happy to mail you some basil... you want the italian or sweet basil??? i bet the chances of survival is better for vadalia onions than basils...==p cheerios, sabine

Hooray for Basil Love~ i'm not sure about growing to be something larger(if i'm understanding correctly)... but i can guarantee you that my basils will grow...keke p.s. i guess i will miss ya at s.j. this weekend...=<  sabine

I couldn't help but notice you read a lot of blogs (mine included) but you don't seem to participate anymore. You more or less stopped before I even began. You were incredibly active for a long time. Is everything all right in your life?
