i went to home depot with a friend...
i was so happy that i was able to buy many different small indoor house plants, ranging from sansaverias (snake plant) to dracaenas...
i was telling him how some plants such mentioned above are very good in the household environment, absorbing bad stuff in the air to giving out positive ions, etc...
and his response was like, "you mean talking to the plants?" and so i say, "yes, don't you think it's better to talk to the plants than to the wall?" lol

i can't wait for them to grow and get really bigggggggggggggggggggg!!!

i also bought some herbs that hopefully my friend can help me make a small "herb garden" so i can use them for cooking... yay yay yay...
i guess no more lattes for a month...haha

if i only didn't drop my phone to...*ung ung*

Hello Sabeene,
talking to plants... why not.
I even give my indoor plants a shower. I think they like that... it's like being under the rain !!!
I like my plants !!! LOL
Have a beautiful day

They did an experiment about talking to plants on MythBusters...about whether it would actually help them grow. Turns out it doesn't really matter how you talk to them (mean or nice).

Sab,

Plumerias need a lot of light.
They do best outdoors on a patio.
But they smell great!

I have a lot of cactus and succulents, including some Aloe plants.

Just come by and take some.

Ummm

Wouldn't it be better to talk to the hand, since the hand can still move and have some reaction, plant doesn't give you any response!!

bahram,

start with "snake plant"(see pic) or peace lily...
they are excellent indoor plants which are known for absorbing air pollutants...
also, you only have to water about once a week at most...

best wishes and have fun!!!
