I always knew, but I was impressed by the margin. I knew it was going to be a landslide even 2 years ago, but not that vast. This was a moment that made me proud to be here. I am glad the win was conclusive, as if it were not there may have been voting scandals in Montana, Indiana, Virginia, and Alaska.

This shows that minds are opening up to the possibility of what we said each day in the pledge of allegiance as kids, and the brightness of the future ahead of us as we realize this.

As Obama has stated so eloquently:

Choosing Palin was a bad idea for McCain.
Have you noticed his facial paralysis?
His health record, I understand, was not fully disclosed.

I never thought that this country was ready to have first black president and I am glad that I was wrong on that one. I didn't voted for Obama. I voted for Cynthia McKinney, a presidential candidate for Green Party(minor progressive party) and I still support for third alternative leftist party. But I support stronger and greater support for grassroot movement and believe that only progressive reform can establish through such force rather than Obama.

However, at the night of election, I chose to put politic aside and shared the excitement for this nation's "first African American president" and also am glad that McCain lost. This definitely is the historical event(even though I think Obama himself won't change any race issue in this country) and was one of highly enticipated election as well.

He have develooped very strong expectation for "change" and people are very excited and so am I. But I don't have faith for Obama for "change" but I have stronger faith in the movements.

I did not vote for him. I started not to vote at all but then changed
my mind. I'm glad he is the 1st Black President (even though he is
half white) He is the 1st mixed race President ! I hope he will do
us proud. He has to change my mind that I was wrong that he did
not have enough experience! I think we will get attacked again by
terrorist. I hope and pray I am wrong !!!!!!!!!!
