I have never been to Korea so I cannot speak to the preferences of its inhabitants regarding body hair. I can however, honestly say that such growth is natural and though some American men complain, this one has no issue with female body hair.
Whaddya lookin at hah?

I think the porn Industry started this trend. Porn is more main stream than it used to be, with more women watching porn than in the past. I know alot of women and most of them shave or trim even some that are from Korea. I even did it myself once and man about 3 days later.....I had regrets ,I've never itched so bad in my whole life......LOL

To be fair to the ladies, I suspect more than a few men in the world perform regular "man-scaping."

LOL I experienced the same thing. Except I DIDN'T shaved myself it was a woman who I was with who did it for me. But it was itching. And to shaved it entirely bold was too weird. Maybe trimming it is better.
And to rest of you,
I do prefer women trimming too. It is major turn off to see women bush. But it is true that oppression against women is so strong in Korea that even simple act of shaving or trimming is consider problematic in the name of "morals" and "femininity."

Owen, for a second I was shocked to see that you liked bush, than I realized that B was not capitalized.... lol.
there is a degree of hedge trimming. the "under branches" should be trimmed. Leave the leafy upper hedges alone.
Hope someone knows what I am talking about.
In Korea, there is a very popular public sauna culture. Pubes that stand out can be embarrassing. The kind of hedge trimming job you see on American porno actresses are very very rare among Korean women. (How do I know? lollll )

So, are you no longer a "firm believer in a woman periodically trimming the hedges as it were as a courtesy to her as well as to others"?
I don't mean to pick on you. Just that I had borrowed your phrase for this particular blog.

Ideally, a nicely trimmed landing strip is much appreciated. That having been said, the "black forest" as it were is definitely NOT a deal breaker for me. I hold nature's creations in high esteem and a wildly lush garden can be just as appealing as a neatly trimmed banzai bush.

You seem to be on the right track about the "oppression against women" being "so strong" in Korea. I never call myself a feminist nor have an in-depth knowledge about feminism, but I think it is true that the oppression against women is systematically practiced in Korea (and probably in other countries as well) and the women themselves repress each other without realizing it.
